DIRECTIONS

    1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft.
    2. Add chicken or all cheeses, black pepper, and Nezo Iodised Table Salt.
    3. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
    4. Fill pastry sheets, fold into triangles, and seal edges.
    5. Deep fry until golden, or brush with oil and bake at 180°C until crisp.

    Tip: Serve warm with garlic yoghurt or tahini sauce.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken or 1½ cups grated akkawi or mozzarella cheese and ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1–1½ tsp Nezo Iodised Table Salt
  • Oil for frying or brushing if baking
